Working at MWM Advisory has been a total joy for me so far, and it’s all because of the amazing team vibe we’ve got going on. Everyone’s always ready to pitch in and help out to get the best outcome for our clients, creating this super supportive and friendly atmosphere. The cliché “we’re not just coworkers, we’re friends” actually rings true here. We genuinely like hanging out with each other, and that camaraderie really makes all the difference. And it’s not just about work here, we’re always ready to celebrate wins, tackle challenges together, and find time to have fun together – it’s like a second home where every day is filled with good vibes and awesome people.
Q: What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
Q: What is the best part about working with James Marshall?
A: His infectious energy! He’s full of beans, he radiates enthusiasm and positivity that effortlessly uplifts the entire team. But beyond his infectious energy, he possesses a wealth of knowledge that he generously shares with us all, encouraging us to push our boundaries and strive for excellence.
Q: What book/tv show/album are you reading/watching/listening to now and why do you like it?
A: I’m currently reading “Before the Coffee Gets Cold”. Written by Toshikazu Kawaguchi, the story revolves around a small, mysterious café in Tokyo where patrons have the chance to time-travel via the café’s mysterious time-traveling chair, but must grapple with their desires, regrets, the complexity of their pasts and ultimately the impact of their choices. Prompting me to reflect on my own experiences, it certainly keeps me eagerly turning the pages.
Q: What is your greatest achievement?
A: My greatest achievement? No doubt, it’s seeing my two boys grow into awesome young men, ready to take on the world. I’m beyond proud of the values they carry and the cool guys they’re becoming. But calling them “awesome” is an understatement. One is on his way to be a doctor while the other is gearing up for law school. Very proud mum indeed!
Q: The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is …
A: Something my mum has said to me over the years is “make sure you always have your taxi fare home”. It’s not always about a taxi fare though, it’s having a backup plan for life’s unexpected twists and turns, and ensuring you’re always covered.
