Team member in the spotlight – Greg Narain

In this series we’re spotlighting a different MWM Advisory team member each month, so you can get to know the team a little better.

Say hello to MWM Advisory’s Chief Operating Officer, Greg Narain.

“We’re in a service industry, and in any service business, there’s really only one thing that sets you apart, and that’s people. MWM is a great group of smart, genuine people who actually care about what they do.”

Tell us a bit about your role…

As COO at MWM, its my responsibility to make sure the environment is right for people to be happy in their work and do their job well. That means making sure the place runs smoothly day to day, people are well informed, and have all the tools they need to perform in their roles.

What is the best part about working with James Marshall?

James has a very entrepreneurial mindset, so he relates well to our clients, their challenges, and where they’re heading. He’s also big on Family, and putting people first – I like that.

What book/tv show/album are you reading/watching/listening to now and why do you like it?

Yellowstone – A family business on steroids, and I’ve always been a fan of a good Western.

What’s something that people might not know about you?

I grew up in a family transport business and could drive a bus before I was old enough to get a car licence.

What is your greatest achievement?

24 years of marriage and 3 great kids who love getting outside of their comfort zone, and tackle any challenge head on – they’ll be business owners one day!
