Tell us a bit about your role…
Every day is different in the role of an accountant at MWM. My role at MWM advisory is providing the most timely business advice and taxation compliance support for businesses of all sizes and industries.
Are accountants misunderstood?
There is definitely a misconception of who and what accountants are. It has been generalised over time that accountants are ‘boring’ and ‘unrelatable’. However, I think most clients of MWM would agree this is far from the truth when describing the team at MWM. It’s a fun place to work and we all really enjoy what we do.
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
Business owners are tasked with navigating many complicated issues and situations, so they rely on their accountant to help them find the best pathway through financial and taxation obligations.
The challenge for us it to always be well-informed and well-equipped to provide the best solutions when our clients turn to us for business assistance and advice.
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is…..

What do you enjoy the most about working at MWM?
I enjoy being part of a positive team environment with like-minded people who all contribute to keeping MWM a progressive firm that stands out from others.
I also like that I have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of different businesses, as we get to see them grow and succeed, which is very fulfilling.
