Tell us a bit about your role…
As an Accountant at MWM Advisory, I complete tax compliance work for a wide range of clients and provide effective advice to assist them with their day-to-day business activities. I also provide some support in IT around the office where required.
Are accountants misunderstood?
Maybe, because we are no longer doing just tax and compliance. We provide a variety of support to assist business owners to help them to make informed decisions for their organisation, so we are accountants and commercial advisors.
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
Every client is different, which can be challenging at times. It is important to understand the needs of the client and clearly understand what they require to meet their business goals and objectives. I can then provide the right options to clients and assist them to mitigate any challenges they may have and achieve the very best result for their organisation or personal finances.
What inspires you outside of the office?
Outside of work I am a family man first and foremost. So, looking after my wife and daughter and provide the best for them is my goal. I also like to watch sports and play computer games. 😊
What do you enjoy the most about working at MWM?
Working closely with clients and getting results by always thinking outside the box and solving the challenges that may affect their business.
