Tell us a bit about your role…
My role is as an accountant within the Self-managed Super Funds team, which involves the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs in order to assist them to pass audit.
Are accountants misunderstood?
Mostly yes, as we too have another side to us outside of work just like anyone.
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
I like a challenge, but sometimes we need to act like a detective to uncover the truth and troubleshoot issues along the way due a to lack of important and relevant information.
What inspires you outside of the office?
I am inspired by and grateful to be able to live here in paradise and experience the unbeatable Gold Coast lifestyle.
What do you enjoy the most about working at MWM?
The friendly people, the location, the progressive & professional environment and of course an inspiring team leader.
What is your greatest achievement?
I am still celebrating my CPA and CA qualifications. 🏆 The only ways is up now!
