In this series we’re spotlighting a different MWM team member each month, so you can get to know the team a little better.
Say hello to Client Manager, Hayley Jaram.
What can you tell us about MWM Advisory?
“MWM is very people focused. The company provides exceptional training and growth for employees. MWM has a different approach to other firms – it’s about thriving through delivery of timely and quality advice, and exceeding client expectations.”
Tell us a bit about your role.
As a Client Manager, my position involves mentoring staff and heading a team of forward-thinking accountants. Our aim both individually and as a team is to achieve the best outcomes for our clients, while offering a superior service. The role involves a varied workload that includes juggling client goals while also ensuring their tax and compliance obligations are always met.
What about when you’re not at work – what are your hobbies and interests?
I love to stay fit, so recently started doing Parkrun with my oldest son and am enjoying the quality time it gives me with him while getting in some valuable exercise. Reading and Netflix are also an enjoyable way to switch off when I can grab some me time.
What do you enjoy the most about working at MWM?
The people – collectively we are able to provide more to our clients than we can as individuals. This is why our clients are provided with a team who can assist them.
What’s your biggest professional accomplishment?
I have recently received the accolade of ‘Fellow’ from CPA. This gives recognition to CPA’s who have completed over 10 years in a management role.
What TV show are you watching to at the moment and why do you like it?
I am currently bingeing ‘Rake’ on Netflix. For those who don’t know it yet, the central character Cleaver Green, is a brilliant yet self-destructive criminal barrister with a chaotic personal life and equally chaotic career. It’s a must watch!
Why did you become an accountant?
I like people and numbers – accounting combines the two and has been something I have always enjoyed.
