Team member in the spotlight – Kento Waki

Team member in the spotlight

In this series we’re spotlighting a different MWM team member each month, so you can get to know the team a little better.

Say hello to Accountant, Kento Waki

“What I really enjoy about working at MWM advisory, is that it provides a great atmosphere to work in. It is the kind of workplace where every team member feels valued and collaborates to provide the absolute best service to all of our clients in both tax and business advisory.”

Tell us a bit about your role…

As an Accountant at MWM Advisory, I complete tax compliance work for a wide range of clients and provide effective advice to assist them with their day-to-day business activity.

What is the most challenging aspect of your job?

Each of my clients have differing requirements, which can be challenging. So it is important to ask the right questions in order to clearly understand what they need and when, so that I can provide them with the best information them in a timely and efficient manner.

What inspires you?

The desire to provide the best service I can to both my clients and in support of my colleagues by using my skills in both accounting and IT.

If you could travel to one place in the world, where would it be and why?

I’d love to visit Japan again. A lot of my family and friends live there and it is always great to visit and spend some quality time with them.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is …..

To ask a lot of questions, as you never know until you ask the question.

What do you enjoy the most about working at MWM?

I really like the atmosphere and the energy here at MWM. Everyone is positive and works hard to provide the best service for our clients.
